Voted Best Butcher in 2003 by the LA Weekly Magazine, Alexander’s Meats has been a part of the San Gabriel and San Marino, California communities for over 45 years.
Our quality has become known throughout the San Gabriel Valley.
In May, 2005 Alexander’s Meats was featured in the cover article of the Los Angeles Times Food section and in The Los Angeles Magazine. We have been featured in the Pasadena Weekly, the Pasadena Magazine and Edible Los Angeles Magazine.
Alexander’s Meats is owned and operated by Michael Milazo.
Growing up around the corner from the store, Michael, at 15 years old, was offered a job working in the butcher shop as a clean up boy. This year he will celebrate his 45th year in the meat business. Alexander’s Meats has employed many of the area’s youth and given them an opportunity to learn the meat business. We are located in Howie’s Market, a gourmet boutique market.
